First Day Of School

As I woke up feeling so excited I was not as hungry as I was the other day I got into my uniform and tried to eat my breakfast then I made my lunch and started to wake up my sisters and parents , It was time to go I walked out the door and started to say goodbye to mum and dad,then alyssa came out with her bag and said bye too We started to go I was really nervous now and i neally fell off my bike we rid off .We got there and there was new students in our school I put my bike away and and hung my bags upthen it was time to go in I saw tia my best friend. We hop in the class and started the roll then we done some work and that work was art we drawed some family korus and pastled them .


then it was time for morning tea we got out our lunch boxes and ate on the deck then we played for awhile and then went into class and hoped on the computers and done the our MDR cover sheets on piZap then we went to swimming ,we had free time and it was the best swim because it was really hot .then we hop out and went back and had lunch then we went in to class and done
some work . then it was time to go home .

Athletics

Yesterday was athletics and and the weather was the worst day we still done it, it was my race and I started to go to the track the weather was getting colder and wetter we waited for ten minutes  and then it was my turn, Mr Fraser  was the starter, when I heard the clapper I went, 'Oh no' I slipped I tried to catch up to phoebe who was in front of me but no she bet me . I got a seconded then I heard the crowd say go Weka, we had to wait for 15 minutes for our 80 meter final. We went to the long jump and I came second for that .Then the speaker said that there is 800 meters if anyone wants to do it so I did it and came third . Then we done the 80 meter final and I came first that was my proud moment, so was the 800 meter. After the 80 meter final we had to go to the turf for a soccer because we had no highjump or relays. 

Suzanne Prentice 

Last Thursday I performed in a choir called Suzanne Prentice. We sung song about farms, and the muppet show. There was about 270 kids in the show.It was around Thames Valley. We had a practice with all of  the other schools earlier that morning.I enjoyed it because I had never done it before. Suzanne prentice is a lady that travels around New Zealand to help kids over in poor countries. That night we had to wear bright coloured clothes to. We were there for about 2 hours and finished at the time 9.30.

HP Athletics 

Yesterday was HP athletics there was a whole heap of people of school there I saw my best friend that I have know en since I was about 6 or 7 she was the best anyway there was all the events that was set up for us and the first one was long jump ,the seconed one was high jump and then shot put the eleven year olds were first on long jump and ,after that we all had races and I had come 2nd in my final race 

then in my 200 I came 2nd to after all of the events we had the last event and that was the relays well quest  what ngatea won all the relays 

The Marimba Tour 

On sunday the 14th of october was a day that we had to go on  a tour we all meet on the front court and I saw everyone with their bags and their parents were there too I was so

excited when I got there . We all got told what cars we were going in so we all got in the cars and started to go I was at the back with erica, and lexie was in the front ,we were halfway there and my stomach was rumbling erica said “what was that noise” I went

quite,  then finally we were there  we all got the bags into the cabins and then waited for a minutes ,then we played a game of touch with the parents it was so awesome there ,then it was time to get ready for bed we had a shower and got into our pj then into bed .

in the morning we  got ready for our show and got our bags into the cars and the we practice our performance , we had done the show  it was finally finish ,the we travelled t the 3D maze and got into some triple partners and done the maze ,after the day we travelled to taupo and went to a summer camp hotel  we all got ready to go to the AC baths . after that we had to g to bed for the next show to come .

Thames Valley Athletics

Yesterday was Thames valley athletics all schools from around Thames valley came there  it was a big day for some people that had got a lot of events ,and it was a good weather day to  ,anyway for my first event was really bad because I was not ready enough and not quite warmed up but all my other events was quite my proudest moment when it was my last event I had tried my hardest to get in to the top 4  and guest what I did .In my final I had a close race because there was another girl that was right beside me but guess what..... I came second  that was my proudest moment and I had got a medal then for the relay we had got second again and that was the end of Thames valley .

Thursday 20th of June 

Disco 

Last night it was the year five  to eights disco and it was really fun . I saw all my friends there . My best friend Hollie was there too, she had her ipod so that was a good start for me . The night began with a few friend photo's  and then went into the Jandle game.The Jandle game is my favourite game of  the disco and I got picked heaps of times.Then we started to slow dance I  danced with seven boys but I was just being nice.Then we all had a dance off,Hollie and I started to dance randomly for about 10 mins and then went back to jandle game.I  got picked again heaps  of times and had more fun.Then at the end we finished  with a slow dance,I had a great night.
