What we are doing for writing

For Writing we are writing an advertising .First we have to plan it then we write it ,I hope we actually get yo write the advertisement .

What is Advertising?

What is it used for?
Advertising is used to sell a product to people.
Look at the following advertisement:
Who is the intended audience of this ad? Describe (age, gender, culture etc)
Do you think this ad is successful? Why/Why not?

Yes so that I could get to know how to write and ad and how it works and how many hard work you take off


What is the advertisement for?
List the information the advertisement provides about the product.
My Writing
1.Looking in a magazine ,newspaper ,or online

2.make the ad good and make it look like it is on the ad and for real .

3.Make it exciting so  it sounds cool .







What is the message in this advertisement?
Look at the visuals of the advertisement. How is the page designed? What catches your eye first? Where do your eyes focus? Where is the product featured in the ad?
To make the ad very exciting so that the customers think to Buy it  . Make sure the  project looks like  the same in the ad to the real thing .
The focus thing that makes me feel when I watch a ad is I look at the project very carefully and see what it looks likes so I can see it in the shop if it looks the same in the ad .

Friday day

 Friday was going to be a  busy day ,it had teachers from other schools,that came  and talked to us ,there was some students that done a presentation from our school ,and we did school stuff .it would be really a busy day to do work and do anything else.

Today at 9:30 am I had my writing group ,Mrs Hull my writing teacher gave us some tips and website to d things on them .she told us what to do ,she gave us some nicknames and passwords for the websites .

What I need to work on ?
Need to finish my advertisement for the meeting so I won't stress over it ,I need to do all the things she gives us so that I don't have to do it on the day .


I did well on being trust worthy and not lying to the teacher ,I just told her what happen .

Learning goal

Today at 9:30am I had my writing meeting with my group ,I was the leader for it but it didn't turn out good because one of members took over but she wasn't to bad ,but I was really nervous at the start because I didn't know what to do .


My goal for next week?
Is to put a lot of commas in to make it sense and take out the ands

Holiday 2013

During the holidays me and my cousin Pounamu went down to my grandparents house to stay .We decided to  help them for my grandads reunion .So we had to clean up their  whole house and backyards for just the reunion .We started  off with a job of digging  out the rock off their lawn and into a big tray to fit all of them .

After all of the jobs we did we wandered off down to the beach and had  a swim and a play .for about half an hour my grandparents came down and picked us up and took us down to the creek as we called the kereru.We stayed down there  for 20 minutes  to wash out the salt water in our hair .We finally finished and drove home to make dinner .

The next day we woke up and started a new job ,but it was so exciting because we were going to make a bed for the reunion ,we started making the base of it to make the bed fit on it ,then we stopped for a break and done another job .But we never got time to finish it so we got to go down to the beach to have a swim and then down to the kereru .

then in the morning we made the bed and got to sleep on it .
